Mindfulness at GLPA

At our school we are learning different ways of being mindful. For example: taking a few deep breathes or doing starfish meditation. You could also make your own glitter bottles using: an empty plastic bottle, filling it with water, adding food colouring, a tiny bit of PVA glue and then glitter. By tipping the bottle upside down or sideways you can see the glitter moving slowly to the other side- watching this may help you relax. Another kind of bottle you could make is a wave bottle. To make this you will also need an empty plastics bottle, fill it half way with water that has blue food colouring in and then fill the other half with baby oil. By tipping the bottle side ways it looks like waves which may help you relax.
